Turning Fat Into Muscle: Does It Work?

So, the real question: Can you turn fat into muscle? Well, in a word, no.
The reason this isn’t really possible is because fat and muscle are two completely different entities, and as such, cannot be intertwined for one to really morph into the other for such effects as lofty as muscle transformation.
Alot of people I talk to still think that it’s possible to turn fat into muscle, and like I said before, the illusion can be created when gaining a recognizable change in muscle, and inversely losing a recognizable amount of weight; doing the two in unison can create such an effect, and it’s this effect that I think most of us in one form or another strive for.
So I Can’t Turn Fat Into Muscle- What Should I Do?
Now that we know that it isn’t really possible to turn fat into muscle, what is the next best thing to do, especially for us bigger guys?
It is a tall task to increase muscle mass and burn fat at the same time, the key reason being calories- you only have so many calories, and either you’re going to burn them to lose weight, or you’re going to gain them to increase muscle mass- in essence, a new paradox awaits us now that we know you can’t really turn fat into muscle.
So what should you do first? Burn fat or increase muscle? Well, if you’re a smaller body type, like an ectomorph, it’s really a better idea in most cases to gain some weight first and then try to pack on some muscle. If you’re already a big guy like I was, however, you could actually do either method first- I wasn’t incredibly obese though, so obviously if you clearly have weight problems it only makes sense to focus on that first, and make it you’re first priority.
Actually, I would say the very lean guys have the hardest time in getting their appearance to a level of looking “big”- it takes a world of commitment, time and energy for smaller set guys to get visibly large while the overweight guy has to focus his energies mainly on diet and strict coherence to that diet- the muscular gains will often be more noticeable significantly sooner for him.
So, whichever you do first is fine- what is crucial that you take away from this is that you cannot literally turn fat into muscle, but that you can still transform you’re body if you want to mimic such an effect- the key is to self-evaluate where you are physically, and decide on a plan of attack for a workout routine and diet–our sisterĀ site shown below has even more specific methodology on how to achieve this, and I highly recommend checking them out if you are serious about undergoing such a transformation.
